The good guys to sell your coins to

Passionate coin collectors revolutionizing coin trading

Backed by Lloyd’s of London

Committed to educating you

Operating with transparency

Selling your coins doesn’t need to be so frustrating

When it comes to our coin collections and investments, all of us strive to make the best financial decisions. That isn’t so easy when you are faced with disappointing options for selling a collection that you’ve personally spent many long hours compiling yourself or have been left in a will by a loved one. As collectors ourselves from a young age, we understand how frustrating it is when an offer for your collection is way lower than anticipated. (Especially since you likely had to lug it all the way to the local coin trader just to show them what you have!)

Led by technology

We embrace technology for our appraisals, network and transactions, because it enables us to pay you more than traditional numismatic firms. We pass on the benefits of our low overheads and can reach thousands more collectors around the globe online, so you always get the best price.

Endorsed by experts

Our lifetime in the coin industry has earned us the endorsement of high profile coin collectors and numismatic authors. These industry giants recognized that Coinfully offered the public a better way to sell - answering the need for a quick, stress-free way to appraise and sell coins from the comfort of your home.

Guided by ethics

Our priority is always to educate collectors on their coins so they can have complete confidence in the decisions they make about the future of their collection. Our process is ultra-transparent and a no-pressure experience so you can find out what your coins are worth without stress.

We care about your coins

Coinfully is a family business, with family values that extend to our clients. We are headed up by brothers Travis and Wyatt McDonald, who followed their mother’s passion for numismatics back in the 1990s. Working for prestigious globally-recognised numismatic institutions, the pair gained the experience they needed to shape Coinfully’s groundbreaking business model. We entered the market to give the selling public a painless and transparent avenue to value and sell coins through a simple online appraisal process.

Our Partners & Memberships

Selling coins the Coinfully way

We developed a 3-Step Clear Appraisal Plan to ensure customers get a market leading price without any of the usual hassle involved with packaging up your collection for a face to face valuation. Our process is all taken care of online. And in some cases we also provide a ‘concierge’ service where we’ll travel to you to appraise your coins at your home. We always aim to save you time and get you the best price for your collection. Here’s what the plan looks like:

  • Call or Email to Discuss Your Collection with a Numismatic Expert

It is likely that you have been slogging through lots of bad information trying to research your collection, we want to get you past that stage! Let's start with a discussion about your coins so we can advise on your next steps and how we may be best of service to you. Call us at 704-621-4893 or send an email to info@coinfully.com today.

  • Create Photos or an Inventory Listing

In some cases we will need a little more info about your coin collection. If that is the case, the process is very easy. You simply send us an email or text with some photos or an inventory listing, see our photo guide for some tips on how to take a perfect coin photo.

  • Ship Coins or Meet in Person and Get Paid a Top of Market Price

For very large or historically important collections, we offer a concierge service where one of our representatives travels to meet you at a place of your choosing in order to appraise and make a top-of-market offer on your collection. For most collections customers prefer to ship directly to our facility for a one-day turnaround collection validation and payment. Packages are fully insured by Lloyd's of London and carefully opened under 4k security cameras. In just one business day, your collection is verified and you get paid!

We’ll even help you get started on the research yourself

We know people like to carry out their own research when it comes to understanding the value of your coins. That’s why we created an Instant value guide too, as part of our mission to help educate people about their coins. The guide gives you everything you need to know to find out if your collection is valuable in less than five minutes without the need to contact an expert!

You’ll find out about:

  • The rarity scale
  • Precious metals in your coins
  • The four factors that make your coins valuable
  • How to care for your collection – and preserve its value!
